Each year, the Town prepares its annual budget. This balanced budget is an estimate of revenues and expenditures for the upcoming fiscal year. It includes projected revenue from all sources and projected expenditures for planned operations, services and programs. After the fiscal year has ended, the Town’s annual audit is performed. This process culminates with the issuance of the Annual Audit Report or Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (CAFR), which presents the actual revenues and expenditures for the prior fiscal year and discusses the Town’s financial position.
