Christiansburg Town Hall will be closed Friday, June 19, in observance of Juneteenth.
Gov. Ralph Northam this week declared that the nineteenth day of June of this year, also known as Juneteenth, shall be recognized as a holiday within the Commonwealth. The governor ordered all Executive Branch state offices to be closed. The Town of Christiansburg follows the state calendar.
Solid waste collection will operate as normal on Friday. Please place garbage carts out at the curb by 8 a.m. for collection.
The Christiansburg Recreation Center and the Christiansburg Aquatic Center will remain open. Both facilities are currently operating on adjusted hours and by reservation only. Please visit www.christiansburg.org/covidoperations for more information and to make an appointment.
Christiansburg Town Hall will reopen at 8 a.m. on Monday, June 22.
