The Town of Christiansburg is willing to host public hearings for three upcoming capital projects: Roanoke Street Sidewalks, Arbor Drive Intersection and Tower Road Intersection.
The Roanoke Street Sidewalks project will construct a 5-foot wide sidewalk, curb and gutter, safety lighting, and crosswalk signals from the sidewalk of the Falling Branch Intersection Project to Hubble Drive opposite the Park and Ride.
The Arbor Drive Intersection project will construct a dedicated southbound left turn-lane from Arbor Drive, including curb and gutter, sidewalk, accessible ramps, crosswalks, and median modifications at its intersection with Peppers Ferry Road.
The Tower Road Intersection project will construct traffic, pedestrian, and I-81 preemption signal improvements, including crosswalks, sidewalks, curb and gutter, and drainage improvements.
