Public Works crews will be completing repairs at the signalized intersection of West Main Street and Phlegar Street, beginning at 8 a.m. today, July 26.
During this work, motorists should expect delays. One turn lane will be closed this morning, but at some point during the work today, crews will close one side of West Main Street (from Dunkley Street to Phlegar Street). During the time of that closure, westbound traffic will be detoured via Dunkley Street, College Street and Radford Street.
The purpose of this repair is to correct an issue with the traffic signal at this location. Work is expected to be complete by 4 p.m. on Friday, July 26.
