Due to the Thanksgiving holiday, solid waste collection normally collected on Wednesdays was scheduled to be collected on Tuesday, Nov. 20.
Tuesday and Wednesday's garbage was collected by Christiansburg Public Works, but contractor Waste Industries was not able to complete Wednesday's recycling collection. Customers who normally receive Wednesday recycling collection should place their recycling containers out by 8 a.m. tomorrow, Nov. 21, for collection.
