More… The Town of Christiansburg regulates certain towing companies that have been vetted through the Town’s Tow Board. When a citizen is involved in any type of incident that requires their vehicle to be moved, one of these companies is utilized when the citizen does not indicate or express a preference for a towing service. These companies are subject to a fee schedule set by the Tow Board when used by the Town of Christiansburg to remove a vehicle from a roadway. This applies ONLY to incidents that occur within Christiansburg town limits. If a citizen feels that they have received a bill that exceeds the rate schedule provided by the Town’s Tow Board, when the service was provided without an expression of preference, they should submit a complaint via the form below. All towing services are regulated by the Virginia Department of Criminal Justice Services (VDCJS).
