Motor Vehicle License Fees

Motor vehicle license fees are assessed based on where your vehicle(s) is garaged on January 1st of each year.  Please be sure to respond to the questionnaire regarding personal property sent out by Montgomery County each year.  Where your vehicle is garaged is determined by your address with the DMV.  Please be sure to update your address and registration with the DMV within 30 days of moving.   

The Town of Christiansburg does not issue window decals for motor vehicles. Motor Vehicle License fees are assessed during collection of personal property taxes. 

All taxes are due by December 5th of each year.
