R. Cord Hall joined Christiansburg Town Council in September, 2010. He is a lifelong resident and serves the community through a variety of organizations, including the Safe Haven Board of Directors and the Domestic Violence Committee of Pulaski County. Mr. Hall also serves as a Guardian ad litem for children and girls softball and basketball coach, among other pursuits.
During his tenure on Town Council, Mr. Hall plans to make the town’s operating budget a primary focus and hopes to leave Christiansburg in a “better financial situation than when [he] came on board.” He is also an advocate for a designated town park; construction of sidewalks and other public accommodations; creation of a farmer’s market; and heightened levels of transparency and open government.
Having earned his B.S. in History and Political Science from Radford University and a J.D. from the University Of Virginia School Of Law, Mr. Hall is employed by Gilmer, Sadler, Ingram, Sutherland & Hutton LLP, in Pulaski County.
He is married to Kourtney Hall and the proud father of two girls, Kelsey and Klaire.
