Christiansburg Planning Commission accepting applications

Are you a Christiansburg resident interested in how your community grows? The Planning Commission may be a perfect fit! 

The Planning Commission is an advisory body to the Town Council and makes recommendations on items such as rezoning requests, Conditional Use Permit requests and amendments to Town Code. Planning Commission members are qualified by knowledge and experience to make decisions on questions of community growth and development, are required to be Town residents, serve four year terms, are compensated $25 per regular meeting attended, and are appointed by Town Council.

The Town will accept cover letters, resumes, and applications for the Planning Commission until Friday, January 26, 2018 in the Planning Department, Town Hall, 100 E. Main Street, Christiansburg, VA 24073. 

Applications are available in the Planning Department during normal office hours of 8 a.m. – 5 p.m., Monday through Friday or online.
