Christiansburg teams up with Kiwanis Club for record-breaking Easter Egg Hunt

Christiansburg Parks and Recreation is teaming up with the Christiansburg Kiwanis Club to host the biggest Easter Egg Hunt the town has ever seen - featuring more than 10,000 eggs!

The hunt, held on April 15 at Kiwanis Park, is free to the public. Photos with the Easter Bunny will cost $1.

Age Group Times
10 a.m. - Children ages 3-5
10:15 a.m. - Children ages 6-8
10:30 a.m. - Children ages 9-12
10:45 a.m. - Children under 3

In addition to our golden eggs in the age groups of 3-5, 6-8 and 9-12, there will be two mystery eggs in each group. And one lucky participant will walk away with a Nintendo Wii donated by Christiansburg Walmart!

In the event of inclement weather, the Easter Egg Hunt will be held inside the Christiansburg Recreation Center. Please call after 8 a.m. on the day of the event to see if the hunt has been moved.
