  1. Community Meeting: Proposed Revisions to Noise Ordinance

    March 1, 6:00 PM

    Please join us for one (or both) of the public meetings scheduled to gather input on the proposed revisions to the noise ordinance. Staff will be reviewing the draft ordinance changes and taking comments during two public meetings on Thursday, March 1 and Thursday, March 8. Both meetings will be held at 6 p.m. in the administrative conference room on the second floor of Town Hall, 100 East Main Street. These meetings are opportunities to give feedback to Town staff ahead of the draft changes being provided to the Planning Commission for their review. Copies of the draft ordinances are available at the following link: www.christiansburg.org/noiseordinance or in the Planning Department on the first floor of Town Hall at 100 East Main Street.   2. Street Committee Meeting

    March 1, 7:00 PM

    There will be a Street Committee meeting on Thursday, March 1, at 7 p.m. in the administrative conference room of Town Hall. The purpose of the meeting is to discuss potential Hickok Street closure, speeding on Robin Road (Mike Box request), speed limits on Radford Street, speed limits on Depot Street, N.E., on-street parking at 123, 127, and 129 N. Franklin Street (across from Pizza Inn), parking on E. Main Street (between N. Franklin Street and Pepper Street), loading zone on S. Franklin Street adjoining 4 W. Main Street, potential redesign of Roanoke Street between E. Main Street and First Street, Stafford Drive concerns, and N. Franklin Street – Peppers Ferry Road Connector Route naming.
