Information Session: Applying for a Homestay Permit

Do you manage an Airbnb, VRBO or other home-based lodging option out of your residence? Beginning July 1, 2019, the Town of Christiansburg will require residents to obtain an annual permit with the Town to be a homestay host and to register with the finance department to collect and remit the applicable fees and taxes. Join us on Thursday, June 13, at 6 p.m. in Council Chambers at Town Hall to learn more about the homestay permit. Town staff will walk through the application process and be available to answer questions. Can't make this meeting? We'll be holding another information session on Monday, May 13, at 6 p.m. Town staff are also available to meet with you on an individual basis if you're unable to attend either session.
