The New River Resource Authority is hosting a Household
Hazardous Waste collection Saturday, August 9 from 10am - 3pm in
the Rear Parking Lot of Radford High School on Scott St.
No registration is required and is free to Christiansburg
residents.

Effective August 1st, 2008, the Town will be
accepting mixed paper at the recycling drop off sites.
News papers should still be separated and nearly all other paper
can be recycled as mixed paper. (Criteria
for Mixed Paper)

Due to the drought conditions across the State
and predicted below normal rainfall, the Department of Health's
Office of Drinking Water is encouraging everyone to voluntarily
reduce or eliminate non-essential uses of water.
